2 ingredient Chocolate Spread

Who doesn't want a protein-packed breakfast nowadays? And if breakfast tastes like dessert, I'm all for it!

This recipe is by far one of the easiest ones we've made in our kitchen and is lip-smackingly indulgent. You have to try it to believe it!

All you need are roasted almonds blended until smooth and a pack of our versatile Hot Chocolate Mix. The almond butter is wholesomely nutty which wonderfully complements the richness of the premium cocoa in our Mix. 

    There are endless ways to enjoy this. Here are a few of our favorites:

    • Spread it on toast for a delicious breakfast.
    • Use it as a dip for fresh fruit, like strawberries or bananas.
    • Add it to smoothies or oatmeal for a chocolatey twist.
    • Use it as a topping for pancakes or ice cream.
    • Skip the icing and use it to frost your bakes.

    It's the easiest addition to your kitchen, and here's how you make it,

    Ingredients:

    150g Almonds
    4 tbsp Plattered Hot Chocolate Mix

    Method:

    • Gently roast the almonds in a pan or in an oven.
    • Add them to a blender and blend till smooth. Scrap the sides of the jar in between to get an even texture.
    • Once it nice and creamy, add the Hot Chocolate Mix and blend till homogenous.
    • If required, add little oil to thin it out.
    • Transfer to a jar, sprinkle a pinch of sea-salt and refrigerate.
    • It's ready to use in your breakfast, or eaten by the spoonful :)
